Waterpik Cordless Advanced 2.0 Water Flosser Review Plus Unboxing?

User Review: Waterpik Cordless Advanced 2.0 Water Flosser

I have been using the Waterpik Cordless Advanced 2.0 Water Flosser over several weeks and would confidently assert that my oral health care practices have changed for the better. Here is my full review, plus the unboxing experience.

Unboxing Experience:

As I opened the box for the very first time, the Waterpik Cordless Advanced 2.0 was properly secured in a strong container. Upon which I discovered the following:

Waterpik Cordless Advanced 2.0 unit

Four types of flosser tips (standard jet tip, orthodontic tip, plaque seeker tip and toothbrush tip)

Travel case

USB charging cable (adaptor not provided)

Quick start and user guide

The device has a futuristic design and finish. Its small size is a plus as it can be carried along or fitted in small bathrooms easily. People who travel a lot will appreciate the travel case that comes with the product. The entire process of unboxing was quite luxurious as the contents inside were neatly and systematically placed.

Design & Build Quality:

This tool is lightweight, easy to grip and use, which is not physically strenuous to handle. Possesses water-resistance capabilities and can even be used under the shower which is a huge plus for my case. The controls are user-friendly and work well and the tank is simple to remove to fill in. But the water tank capacity measuring only 7 oz (210 ml) is fairly small; I generally have to re-fill it in order to complete any thorough session.

The magnetic charging system is sophisticated and pretty quick. The device battery power is sufficient for daily use for about one week after complete recharge.

Performance:

Looking at the performance perspective this flosser is of a great standard. The Waterpik Cordless Advanced 2.0 has three settings of pressure low medium and high. It is also advisable for first time user to begin with low pressure. After few tries, I turned to medium pressure for better cleaning effects.

The water pressure is strong enough to get rid of any food particles or plaque even stuck in the gum line and between the teeth. I was able to see a huge difference on the state of my mouth hygiene compared to the use of a regular dental floss. The different tips allow for a personalized experience and caters for different dental issues. I loved the orthodontic tip that cleans the space around the braces, and the plaque seeker tip works great in removing any plaque.

The only pity is that the device is pretty loud, especially in its higher pressure settings. It’s not a deal-breaker of sorts, but it might take you by surprise the first time you use it.

Ease of Use & Maintenance:

There are very few complexities involved in the use of the Waterpik Cordless Advanced 2.0. After the tank gets filled with lukewarm water and attached to the device, appropriate flosser tip is directed at the gumline and the rest is quite easy. A complete clean would take around forty-five seconds but I prefer going for a minute which necessitates refilling the tank once.

Cleaning the unit is not hard, as the removable tank can be washed and dried after each operation. However, please take care to vacate the tank in case of inactivity to prevent mildew or bacteria from developing.

Portability:

The absence of a cord is one feature we find memorable. It is very appropriate for people who love travelling because it is small in size and comes with the traveling bag. This unlike other countertop models of a flosser which are rather bulky and heavy this can be carried in a suitcase easily without occupying much space. Besides, the fact that it is USB rechargeable means that one can use it in any country’s sockets because it can connect to a laptop or any USB port.

Final Thoughts:

All in all, the Waterpik Cordless Advanced 2.0 Water Flosser is a great product to have in one’s kit. It’s a practical option because of the high water pressure it offers, numerous tips and the fact that it is very portable. However the small tank and the noise levels are quite minor issues, the overall effectiveness and efficiency beats those challenges.

Advantages:

Pretty cool and portable

No wires and easy to carry

Different tips for various uses

Three levels of operational power

Can work in in the bathroom since it is resistant to water

Amazing battery capacity

Disadvantages:

Tank is small the water runs out very fast

It is slightly loud especially at the higher nozzles pressure

There’s a USB cable provided but no charging plug

Generally, I would encourage anyone searching for a good portable device especially a water flosser to buy this product. For assistive devices, this one of the best as it is possible to clean the teeth even those patients who have braces or orthodontics.
